Books that survive an audit
Audit pain is usually bookkeeping pain with a delay. Bank recs that only happen at year end, suspense accounts that nobody owns, and inventory counts that exist as a photo of a whiteboard.
A close that survives review has three habits: every balance-sheet account has an owner, every rec is dated, and adjustments are posted in the month they belong to. None of that is software. It is discipline.
If you want AccountLed on the audit, we will still tell you when the books are not ready. Better a delayed kick-off than a file we cannot stand behind.
